Good Evening Bloggers!
I hope you are all doing wonderfully, and that you had a great weekend.
Father’s day is such a special day, along with Mother’s day, Veteran’s day, and all the other days carved out specifically for honoring significant humans in our lives.
A thought did definitely pop up in my head as my family and I was expressing our gratitude for my father.
Why is this not a sentiment which is expressed on a daily basis? Why does a day need to be carved out for expressing the significance of someone in our lives?
For Father’s day my family and I had gone out to eat at an amazingly delicious Indian restaurant.
As we were waiting for a table to clear I looked at my father and pointed out to him the lack of smiling faces and more importantly the lack of conversations at the tables in the restaurant. Why not celebrate your loved ones every single day and more importantly why not celebrate them whole-heartedly?
My dad looked at me and nodded his head. He did not have a response to this, and from that reaction, I understood that he was subliminally in agreement with me.
Personally, all that my parents have sacrificed for me can never be commemorated in one day, let alone an entire lifetime.
I am not saying that these days should not exist, they should exist, but they should be in existence every single day. We should be thankful and grateful for the people in our lives.
Just something to think about, have a great day!
Sending a lot of laughter and smiles your way,
