Good Evening Beautiful People,
I want to thank you all for the support you have given me so far, I am appreciative for each and every like + comment.
So why did I title this blog 10 Minutes?
My friend and I were out at a cafe having coffee and discussing a book that we most recently read.
We were sitting near where the barista’s were making coffee, so if I may add there was a bit of commotion as it was a busy time of the day.
Mid conversation we noticed a woman make her way to the barista’s and complain about how she had been waiting for her coffee for about ten minutes. She presented her statement with immense frustration and anger. The barista apologized to her and scurried to make her drink.
Now don’t get me wrong, ten minutes makes a whole lot of difference depending on the situation.
Now let us look at the situation from the point of view of the barista’s. They had a line of drinks waiting to be made, and there were just a limited number of people working at the time.
Over ten minutes this lady was frustrated. I am not saying her anger was not justified but sometimes as humans, I think it is so important to take into account different scenarios in which anger/frustration can be justified and comparing it to the current situation you are in.
That may help you see how little the problem you are getting worked up about really is.
For example, if I were to get angry over having to wait for my coffee for ten minutes I would pause and take a minute to think about how so many parts of the world don’t even have access to one drop of water.
We are all human, it is just a matter of putting things into perspective at times.
I hope all of you have an amazing weekend ahead, you are all awesome!
