Invest in YOU

Hi Friends!

How many of you feel that you are constantly running and not getting enough time for YOU?

Okay, if you took a few seconds to think about this and resonate with it then I am here to tell you that there are a few things you can do right this second to really invest in yourself! Are you ready? Here we go:

  1. Are you constantly on your phone?

TRY THIS: As soon as you get off of work or even when you get home make a commitment to turning off all notifications on your phone and really try to embrace the present moment.

  2. Are you always TOO serious?

TRY THIS: Find a reason to smile/laugh in every situation. Ofcourse, only if it is appropriate (then again what is/isn’t appropriate right? Haha). Remember life is beautiful and you have every right to enjoy it.

  3. Are you a product of technology?

TRY THIS: Instead of turning on the television as soon as you get home why don’t you commit to taking part in a hobby that makes you happy? Maybe you can go for a quick run or even read a chapter from the book that has been sitting on your shelf for many months?

  4. Do you ever pause to take in the beauty of life?

TRY THIS: Meditation. Such an important activity. I am telling you- it can CHANGE your life if you commit yourself to it. Not only can meditation provide you with peace of mind but it can really get you in touch with who you are.

  5. Are you always looking for things?

TRY THIS: Organize different aspects of your life. It can be as little as organizing a drawer in your desk at home. Although it may seem like a small shift in your world- it will create ripple effects across your life and this will transition into everything that you do.

Sending a lot of positive vibes your way. You can find more ways to invest in yourself here.

Have an awesome day,

  1. Very good tips Manisha! You know I used to think it was a bad thing to leave work and still have my phone on silent when I got home – I would have people call but I would miss it because I had not turned back on the notification button but honestly that was a blessing in disguise because it allowed me to focus on other things….such as cooking for two kids…lol. Very Good post!

      1. I like to write and spend time reading whether it’s the bible or some other devotional. Let’s see, I love shopping at the thrift stores…lol lol. My favorite places, you just never know what you’re going to find. I love watching movies and I love good food (not cooking it so much, but will eat it any day). What about you?
