Good Morning my beautiful blog readers, and bloggers. I appreciate that you stopped by to show your support. People always say that you need to take a stand for yourself. Otherwise, who is going to make one for you? Well, this isn’t the case in the world of modeling.
Women have always been courageous and bold. Now combine that with action and that is the recipe for success.
100 models came together to sign a letter asking for a legally binding contract to protect all models against sexual harassment. The RESPECT Program promotes this initiative further by asking essential brands and companies to come together to ensure a safer work environment is in place for models.
Here is a question to think about: Is the RESPECT Program merely going to accomplish what it aims to by its name? The program is asking for a third party to record complaints received by models while taking a stronger approach to making sure models receive pay on a timely basis.
Many models have signed this open letter in hopes that it will promote a better working environment.
What are your thoughts on this? Do you think an open letter can create a ripple effect or will this change require a much stronger foundation?
Have a fantastic day ahead everyone. I am sending a lot of positive vibes your way.
