Dear Runners, I Appreciate You!

Running is a sport that requires a lot of effort, consistency, and hard work. It’s not always easy, but it’s worth it. I want to appreciate everyone who runs consistently, whether for fitness, mental health, or fun. The other day, I was running in the rain, and two people driving by cheered for me and yelled, “That is Dedication”! That caught me by surprise because that is a rare occurrence. Runners, in general, always acknowledge other runners, but someone cheering for you on a regular day is unheard of – well, for me, at least.

I know how much hard work goes into running every single day. I know that we run through the rain, the cold, the heat, and even the snow. Running is a part of our lives, and that is how we treat it. Running is not just about the time spent on the road or the track; it’s also about the time spent preparing for those runs. It’s about the early mornings, the late nights, and the countless hours spent training. I want to acknowledge that I see you and how hard you are working. So, keep up the great work to all the runners out there. You may not always get the recognition you deserve, but know that your hard work and dedication are noticed. Keep lacing up those shoes and hitting the pavement because you are making a difference in your life and inspiring others.

Hello, and welcome to my blog! Initially, I started this blog to write and express my thoughts. Little did I know that as I progressed on my 8+ year fitness journey, sharing the knowledge I have gained would become more important than ever. As a gym enthusiast, marathon runner, spartan race competitor, and yogi, I am fascinated by the positive impact that fitness can have on our lives.

When I first started my fitness journey, it was incredibly challenging. There was a lack of resources or too many available resources to help me get started. I found myself feeling lost and overwhelmed. I didn’t know where to turn for guidance or support, and I struggled to find the motivation to keep going despite the obstacles that I faced. But even though it was tough at first, I knew I had to stick with it to achieve my goals. And over time, I began to discover more and more resources that helped me on my journey. From online forums to fitness apps and workout videos, I started to put together a plan that worked for me. And while it wasn’t always easy, I knew the journey was worth it. Today, I’m proud of how far I’ve come, and I know that I couldn’t have done it without the help and support of all the resources I discovered along the way.
