The sun’s beauty is in its daily storytelling, writing, and rewriting it with every sunrise and sunset. Often, we overlook these natural occurrences, much like drinking coffee, which is so much a part of our daily routines. The sun rises and sets automatically, much like brushing our teeth, and only catches our attention when it doesn’t shine. Despite being an important part of our lives, the sun is often the last thing on our minds.
During one of my runs, I had a revelation about the sun. The day started very windy, making it difficult to maintain my balance. However, around mile 7 or 8, the sun shone so brilliantly on my face and at that moment I closed my eyes and let the shine fully on my face.
The sun symbolizes assurance, happiness, and most importantly, the promise of infinite light. During my run, I realized that, like the sun, I too will continue to shine despite any obstacles in my path. At that moment, I knew that everything would be okay in the end. Just like the sun, human willpower follows a similar pattern of rising and setting. Keep shining!
